AION 2 Gear Progression: Choose Your Next Upgrade

The most useful farming target depends on what you already have equipped. Our Character page compares your public loadout with researched dungeon reward pools so you can choose a practical next step.

Link your public character

Select your Global region and server, search your character name and confirm the match. The guide uses public profile data for your level, equipped gear, gear score and available combat-power information. You never need to supply your game password.

Look for gaps in your loadout

Open Character to review weapons, armor, jewelry and Arcana. Empty slots and lower base item tiers can reveal potential upgrades. Repeated slots matter: owning one suitable ring does not necessarily mean the second ring slot is covered.

The Recommended target considers how many relevant equipped slots a dungeon reward pool could improve. You can also choose a specific weapon, armor, jewelry or Arcana target. Entry requirements and activities you have marked too difficult still affect availability.

Understand the upgrade percentage

The percentage shown by the guide is slot coverage, not a drop chance. If a reward pool could improve three of six relevant slots, that describes half of the compared slots. It does not mean there is a 50% chance of receiving an upgrade.

Unknown item comparisons remain uncertain rather than being labeled guaranteed upgrades. Base tier alone does not settle every choice: rolls, set effects and your build can still matter. Items in bags and storage are not included in the imported loadout.

Sync after equipping an upgrade

Character Sync refreshes the public profile. The app also refreshes while active, so equipped changes can update recommendations. Completing a dungeon task records the activity; it does not invent loot or assume that your gear improved.

Track gains alongside your routine

The Character page keeps gear-score, power and equipment progression together. Today keeps your task totals and priority list. This makes it possible to track both what you did and how your visible character stats changed, without treating a task count as a measure of character strength.
